Transportation in Hendon

Hendon is served by two major transport routes from where you can reach central London in less than half an hour. Hendon Central and Colindale Tube stations are on the Edgware branch of the Northern line. Hendon station has Thameslink trains that leads to St Pancras, Blackfriars and Farringdon. Both Hendon and Hendon Central are located in Zone 3 but Collindale are located in Zone 4.

You cannot find much to shop around in Hendon but nearby, Brent Cross Shopping Centre has more than 120 stores and independent shops and branded stores. Large Sainsbury’s is also there on opposite to Silkbridge Retail Park boasting Halfords, Comet and Pets at Home. On Edgware Road what is also known as Hendon Broadway, you can find local shops and further north, it becomes The Hyde. Hendon Broadway also has two shops, Frames Fishing Tackle run by the same family for 50 years and a boating shop.
