Dubai Creek Harbour - A premium waterfront development by Emaar

Dubai is known across the world for its premium waterfront developments, luxurious lifestyle, and unparalleled architectural designs. The city boasts a number of mesmerizing developments such as the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa – the world’s largest shopping centre, Dubai Mall – the world’s largest artificial port, and Dubai Harbour including the first off-shore man-made island formed in the shape of a palm tree called the Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai Creek is the cornerstone of Dubai’s heritage. Historically, the Creek was a busy regional hub for trade and fishing. Preserving both the economical and cultural aspect of the site is the major aspect of Dubai Creek Harbour Development and integrating a smart and green city. Dubai Creek Harbour is a joint venture between Dubai Holding and Emaar Properties capitalising on their core strengths. Located next to Ras Al Khor wildlife sanctuary, Dubai Creek Harbour is planned to bring harmony between contemporary development and sustainable biodiversity.

The beautiful waterfront residential development by Emaar located on the Island District and the surrounding Dubai Creek Harbour has a lot going for it, and aside from standing tall if not taller, against the 21st-century icon, Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Creek Tower will have spectacular cultural offerings, shopping district, amenities, residences and much more.

Those who would like to live by the Creek will be happy to know that the charming Cove Dubai will have three bedroom apartments overlooking unobstructed views of the Dubai Creek and the famous Ras Al Khor wildlife sanctuary where hundreds of pink flamingos call home. The Dubai Creek Harbour seems to be the ideal spot for lavish living because within it contains two gleaming towers of up to three bedroom serviced apartments that will give its occupants remarkable views of the Dubai skyline and the famous Burj Khalifa.

According to Emaar’s official website https://www.emaar.com/, the Tower’s design, where the skyscraper is linked to the ground up with steel cables, was also inspired by the delicate ribbing of the lily leaves. It’s outward look is designed to resemble an important tower-like symbol of Islamic culture seen on mosques known as the Minaret used traditionally for the Muslim call to prayer. The Dubai Creek Harbour tower will feature futuristic features like dynamic illumination, movement lighting even the tower’s summit emitting a beacon of light from its peak. While many thought that its height would be in comparison to the Burj Khalifa, however, the Dubai Creek tower 100 meters higher standing at 928 meters tall.

The Tower will have an oval-shaped bud at the very top, which will house among others, ten observation decks, including a Pinnacle Room offering 360-degree views of the city. There will also be VIP Observation Garden Decks, and as the name suggests, will only be for the elite few people who want to enjoy exclusive views of the iconic Downtown Dubai.

The overall cost the tower that’s expected to integrate the latest in design, engineering and sustainability features is estimated to be around 1 billion USD, and the high-rise building is scheduled to be completed and join the list of the tallest skyscrapers in the UAE.
