Dubai is attempting to reach for a new world record: the world’s tallest tower with the Dubai Creek Tower.
Ever since the Burj Khalifa opened in 2010, it has retained its title as the world’s tallest building, though since the building is lived and worked in, it doesn’t qualify as a “tower.” The title went to Tokyo with the Tokyo Skytree in 2012, replacing Guangzhou’s Canton Tower.
