The Selhurst Park stadium is set to expand from a 26,000 capacity to about 40,000, improving fans’ experience and starting the new year fresh. Crystal Palace football club hopes to expand their home of 93 years and provide a football landmark for South London.
Announcing the plans, Steve Parish Palace chairman said:
“We need a stadium that reflects who we are, how far we have come and where we want to go – a stadium that South London can be proud of, a home worthy of our incredible support and unique atmosphere and this great Premier League we represent.”
