Croydon planners have approved a twin-tower scheme of build-to-rent flats near the East Croydon station. Tide Construction will build a 44 & 38-storey scheme that will comprise of 546- flat towers, designed by HT Design.
Situated on the former Essex House, the scheme will be a trailblazer for modular construction methods, as it will be based on an off-site manufacturing system, developed by Tide. The system is described as the UK’s largest volumetric manufacturer of structural modules, a forward-thinking method of building that minimizes construction-generated pollution.
