Aman New York Residences

After completing its 100 years, The Crown Building has undergone massive transformation into Aman New York Residences. Located at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 57th Street, Aman New York perched above the hotel building, neighboured by towering skyscrapers. Amongst the concrete forest of Manhattan, it tends to be one of the most significant buildings that will deliver peace and wellness.

The project offers 22 ultra-private residences that are designed above the Aman-branded 85-suite hotel, blending the signature Aman’s style with the upbeat culture of Manhattan. The development will offer private residences having up to six bedrooms and a five storey penthouse. Each residential unit will approximately spread on average 4,300 square feet. The 410 ft. historic Crown Building being restored at a large scale, the interiors are being designed by the renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston.

Aman residences will also be one of its own kinds of residential options featuring high-end interior finishes, integrated security and telecommunications systems, a high acoustic specification, up to three fireplaces, fully fitted kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, heated floors in bathrooms, demisting mirrors, separate rain or steam showers and free-standing bathtubs.

The residences will have private and discreet entrance on 56th Street with dedicated high-speed elevators, which also provides access to the hotel’s lobby, spa and the Members’ Club. Aman will not just help renovate the structure but bring elite dining and entertainment options, a spa that spreads over 25,000 square foot, swimming pool with terrace, cabanas and daybeds, a state-of-the-art gym, steam room, a Jazz Club and residents’ access to wealth of hotel services.

The project boasts 7,000 square foot terrace offering gorgeous views of Central Park and city and al fresco dining experience, a Japanese restaurant Nama, and Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Arva and a wine library. Aman New York will be first urban Aman residences worldwide, designed as a private oasis in the bustling city.
